They’re going to lose because this means nothing to them and everything to the people they’re terrorizing. They have to lie about what they’re doing just to get a few thousand losers to sign up to do it for signing bonuses, meanwhile an entire city is uprooting their lives to fight back for free
I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.

Need to go back to five best picture noms. They still expect regular people to watch ten movies to be invested in an Oscars broadcast? It’s especially difficult when nominated movies are around for just a couple weeks. Also we got here because of superhero movies or something? Doesn’t matter anymore

Really don’t relate to the hate for GDT Frankenstein, although my first guess is that he is a true gothic romantic director and most people don’t have a lot of familiarity with old Euro horror these days, much less Mexican Gothic Horror. In any case, it’s maybe too sincere for a lot of people.
