Think we’ve crossed a pretty major threshold – and a very bad one – if a journalist working in the lobby for a major newspaper group can tweet like this without professional consequences.
A mainstream “journalist” calling for a British MP to be deported. Is it because I’m Muslim? Next time, just say it with your chest.

None of this happened, none of these pictures are real, AI slop like this makes the world dumber and worse and the companies peddling it 24/7 are destroying civilization.

But AI is promised to "save schools time"?

Man comes to the US from Lebanon. Starts out delivering pizzas, becomes a Nobel winning neuroscientist. Trump freezes his funding, he gets an email from China offering to move his lab “any city, any university I want" with guaranteed funding for 20 years.

What are we doing?

Good question, quote posting to answer, the illegal tariffs are the baseline 10%, suspended reciprocal tariffs, and a few others. The UK US deal focused on other tariffs - cars and other products - which remain in force.
Morning @davidheniguk.bsky.social

Can I just check where this leaves the US-UK?

Is it possible that we've now enshrined in law bad terms that were actually illegal when Trump threatened them? But we've made legal via the deal?

This was just posted by @tbretc.bsky.social on another platform. The Chicago Sun-Times obviously gets ChatGPT to write a ‘summer reads’ feature almost entirely made up of real authors but completely fake books. What are we coming to?

The Department of Homeland Security denied Mahmoud Khalil permission to attend the birth of his first child, who was delivered at a New York hospital on Monday, according to emails reviewed by The New York Times.
