I'm cynical but passionate and optimistic about the future. I'm into landscape fauna ecology especially in the arid and semi arid zones. 😁 PS not a huge fan of cat and puppy photos.

"as Angus Taylor ascended to the leadership of a riven & defeated political party, the Albanese government slipped out a handful of announcements on contentious climate & environment issues.

Simpleton baseless "policies" to win back the simpletons who migrated to the cesspit of NSN/PHONE. White supremacist racism dressed up as "Immigration Policy". 😂

Radical immigration policy banning countries being considered by Liberals
Angus Taylor says he will unite the Liberal Party, but a deeper rift is forming among those who want to overhaul the party's direction and those who believe doing so would mean political death.

Unfortunately, not fresh news. We all said it allowed for the expansion of the fossil fuels and mineral extraction sectors. We all knew it and nothing the @greens.org.au or the #Independents did was ever going to change this fraudulent piece of legislation. It was a con from the start.

If they use external consultants, CSIRO will have its scientific credibility trashed by the inanity of the profit motive.

What's the reality check? That a sector continues to show total disregard to those who they have cajoled to artificially inflate their profit margins through tax-breaks and subsidies, and lobbied for reduced social and environmental responsibilities?

Before we point fingers, let's just get one thing straight. When it comes to land mismanagement, +200 years of clearing and logging is at its core. Simpleton and simplistic moans will not change the direction of the road we've laid. Expect more fires and less control.

I wonder if anyone has noticed how many of the police at the anti-Herzog march were sporting Thomas Sewell nazi moustaches. Must be a new fashion trend. It may also explain why Nazi marches get a free reign in NSW.

For those Australians still on Facebook, go to the Advance Australia page and report each story as both false information and primoting hate (by an organised group). The stuff they are posting is vile.

I've only limited empathy for graziers. The headline photo does not reflect the true story: millions of hectares cleared, turned into grasslands for the industry. Floodplains are meant to flood and native vegetation is meant to slow waters down. This is the result of poor land management.

It is amazing what you can learn by listening to those who spend live on country. Ecology is 99.9% observation and awareness. Great article and a credit to all those involved.

Nazism/fascism is not about skin colour or cultural background. It is a broad church that opens its arms and invites the most evil and insidiously vile examples of humanity.
It's not even the Tory-lite Party any more, is it?
It's just The Tories - with special guest star, Nigel Farage.

What a pig-ignorant moronic response from the government - it just highlights what garbage can get voted into office.
Also, 'involved in death' seems a rather unhelpful headline given the Coroner's report.
🙄 😠 Tragedy x 2!

"Queensland government officers will euthanase a pack of dingoes involved in the death of a Canadian backpacker on K'gari. A coroner's report found Piper James was bitten by dingoes before she died, but drowning was the most likely cause of death."
