Funny how I wear these things every day and still had to get up and get one to look at for this scribble. #CovidKills

As I mourn,
I keep reminding myself
that I am not alone
that even now I am not alone,
but it is a difficult thing
to keep telling myself this
when those I am mourning
are the very people
used to remind me
that I was not alone.

It’s never too late to start masking again.

It can be daunting to mask back up when no one else is bothering, but your health is worth it.

Every Covid infection is a dice roll with disability, and a good respirator like an N95 stops chains of transmission.

You’ll also get less colds & flus!

If you’re still wearing a mask… thank you.

Thank you for recognizing that disabled people aren’t expendable.

Thank you for showing solidarity with us.

Thank you for caring about your health & the health of those around you.

It’s a powerful act of community care & it’s never too late to start!

I’m not going to tell anyone not to go have fun at a con. Fun is scarce right now! But Covid is very real, we’ve had five years to understand that, and all we’re getting is an ever increasing stack of dead bodies (yes, still) and disabled folk (millions and millions.) That can change.

Designers are waiting weeks, and in some cases months, for payouts from itch as sympathy for the indie game platform's mounting problems wears thin.
Game designers are experiencing persistent payout issues from itch.io
The indie platform’s payout delays are a symptom of a bigger issue.

“Immunity debt” doesn’t exist, but immune damage does. Children are sicker now than pre-pandemic – many with disabling chronic illnesses. This cycle of harm can only stop when we accept reality – there’s no off ramp without cleaning classroom air.

"It’s disturbing when people tell you their families have repeatedly had Covid & they are FINE…but then they start listing all the bizarre new medical problems they have & all the rare new diagnoses their kids have, & NO CONNECTIONS are made at all. Covid Blindness is very real."

The Daily Mail has run a number of attack pieces on Violet Affleck after her incredible UN speech advocating for COVID protections including masks and clean air.

These attack pieces including a poll on masking in medical facilities. The result? An overwhelming 76% of people support requiring masks!

Not me. I‘ve lost all access!

Medial care is beyond my capabilities so all my issues just go untreated, unmonitored, and uncared for!

Just had another look - they:
a) demonstrated the majority of COVID transmission is necessarily airborne
b) have been sitting on the data since October 2022, *before* the Loeb N95 study several of them co-authored was published
c) won't share the data
c) still have these COIs: osf.io/preprints/me...

There is a really good study recently that explores deeply how COVID-19 infections causes insulin resistance/glucose intolerance. Essentially diabetes.

Sadly I can’t post it because it contains the word “vaccine”… 🤦🏻‍♀️

Felt similarly as a gay man in the ‘80s & ‘90s during the original HIV/AIDS epidemic and again in 2022 as I reviewed the science on COVID & learned how dangerous it truly is—at the same time it became apparent the government was going to basically try & disappear the virus.
We really can’t understate the psychic toll of knowing that the United States government is trying to kill as many people as possible
