#Covidisairborne I feel very let down by our government on COVID. Lack of public health messaging on vaccines, poor vaccine access, no mitigations for an airborne virus. No messaging to say avoid catching COVID. In fact quite the opposite.
Here is Dr Barry Jones explaining that they knew from ‘day 1’ it was airborne and a virus of some consequence. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cpR...

either
- it is staggeringly ignorant of the historical precedents
or
- it's aware of the precedents, and thinks, yeah, we'll have some of that.

Refugees & asylum seekers are largely a vulnerable, traumatised & disadvantaged group of people so to keep demonising & scapegoating them for political gain is disgusting & despicable. The end doesn’t justify this punching down means & in any case the end here seems to be the propaganda itself.

The more I think about Chris Whitty's response the angrier I get. Whitty thinks the media can be trusted to alert the public of the dangers from #LongCovid
Prof Whitty said that if the CMO's had known at the time what they did 9mths later, they would have inc info about #LongCovid as that would have been an important & accurate point to add.

When later asked why nothing was put out - "no need as it had been discussed in the media"

Q - There still to this day remains no public health messaging on paediatric Long Covid, do you agree that there should be?
A - Most parents would at least of been aware of the debate - I think the idea that this is not a known thing I am not sure I would agree to.

Every single one was from the pro Brexit minority

47 were from UKIP/BP
