I don't know why this is funny. Some kind of displacement behaviour. It's mind-bendingly insane that we have gone from Lennon and McCartney to this in a few decades.

Are we stupid or what? How come we do this to ourselves as a society? We managed to regulate smoking, and then CFCs, but failed when we hit CO2 production. Now it seems we can't regulate jack sh*t, and with the zillionaire tech bros lobbying for themselves, this is not changing any time soon.
A new investigation from @globalwitness.org has found that AI chatbots are sharing climate conspiracies, denial and disinformation, and are most likely to push this content to conspiratorial user personas.

@stevepowell99.bsky.social So the question is, are you like Neil deGrasse Tyson because you're brilliant, or does the algorithm think your profile picture with connected dots must mean you're an astrophysicist?

Economists say the govt can't spend much. Until a war or a pandemic or a bank collapse arrives & then suddenly the money is there.

Come and find out what actually restricts government spending.

Not much else he can say really. Note his optimism on California's future. Hope he's right.

"I come here with humility, mindful that the Trump Administration has abandoned any sense of responsibility. It's an abomination. A disgrace.

But California has a different state of mind. A different quality of imagination. And is a stable partner..."

Blimey. Word out on the street is that Trump is already plotting regime change in NY 😆 But seriously, I heard Trump secretly wanted a ZM victory because he wants the fight. There's going to be fireworks for sure.
Zohran Mamdani had a message for President Trump on Tuesday after his win in the New York mayoral election: "New York will remain a city of immigrants: a city built by immigrants, powered by immigrants and, as of tonight, led by an immigrant."
