@paulfarmerceo.bsky.social Heard you on 5Live this morning -- if you'd like to hear about my father's care as a perfect case study for some of the failures you were talking about please let me know. :)

@rickedwards1.bsky.social And what are the rules if the first person gets it spot on - then there is no up or down? :)

@rickedwards1.bsky.social RE: 96 mins. Strategy for your tiebreaker - films are mostly 90-100 mins - what Mitch needed to do was find the best zone of doubt for his opponent, most uncertainty - and that's in the mind-90s. I picked 97; I didn't guess 97.

@rickedwards1.bsky.social Sumo, Nagoya 1996 - little guy beats big guy ('dump truck'), and i was there. Sad thing that big guy fell on little guy, injured him, put him out of the tournament....

@rachelburden.bsky.social Well, best to learn to trust chia seeds - good in so many ways.

They get slimy when wet because of their fibre

@rickedwards1.bsky.social I'm wondering how many times you've said bullshit/liar/idiot/bastard under your breath today, thinking about Trump's medical advice. Countless, I'm sure.
Trump & RFK jr, a pair of absolute fuckheads.

@vicderbyshire.bsky.social Tedious questioning - will you rule out coalitions etc. Boring & pointless - awful to watch - no wonder she doesn't want to answer that

@rickedwards1.bsky.social @rachelburden.bsky.social I don't like that doctor's advice - RE: healthy fats -- be aware of eating too much omega-6 fat. It takes some effort to avoid it - but extra cashew butter would be the wrong answer. And sunflower seeds are loaded with it too.

@rickedwards1.bsky.social Sprinters don't actually have big calves -- I was also surprised to learn that listening to a physiology expert a while back. Huge quads maybe, with skinny calves.

@rachelburden.bsky.social @rickedwards1.bsky.social BMI is perfect ... for identifying who really knows what they are talking about RE: health and fitness. And who can't figure out the difference between a jelly belly & rock hard muscle man! It's obviously an appalling equation but is a handy guide.

Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on.
