Today: Cherry & pumpkin pie, fudgy chocolate raspberry brownies, cranberry sauce, classic sourdough cold proofing, whole wheat everything bagel sourdough bulk fermenting, turkeys brining.
Tomorrow: Smoke turkeys, dinner rolls, corn bread, green bean casserole, stuffing, creamed corn, harvest salad.

I had the same defiant reaction to the saying, and when my firstborn was still an infant I looked at him and said watch this, son, your dad's not like all the other dads. Jumped into my pants both legs at once, nailed it on the first try (wife witnessed!), never tried again since. Going out on top.
"He puts his trousers on one leg at a time, just like everyone else." The teacher who said that inspired me to put them both legs at once. I tried the next morning at the top of the stairs. I broke my left leg and wasted my dad's morning. Turns out, one leg at a time is fine.

Mad props to the friendly and competent nurse? at Kaiser Marlow Heights location that got 3 of us in and out with covid and flu shots in just 7 minutes. Almost makes me forget that I'm paying $12K this year for the privilege of not having any coverage until I pay our full annual deductibles. Almost.
