Big 12 men's hoops is now 11-6 in games against power conference foes to start the season, with only 1 bad loss against everybody else. (Thanks, TCU.) Not bad at all.

Come on @thefieldof68.bsky.social do better. There are at least 3-4 angles available of the final play and it was a clear non-foul from every one of them. It's your job as journalists to report objective facts, not platform Steven Pearl's petty nonsense.

Not calling Tugler getting tackled on a rebound, not calling Cenac getting hammered on the arm on that hook shot, two shockingly bad misses already in Auburn's favor

I wish Pete Buttigieg nothing but the best in private life, but let this be the last time any of us utter his name
Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25
Pete Buttigieg critiques Democrats for focus on identity
The former U.S. transportation secretary said the Democratic Party should focus more on issues gripping the country, such as health care and housing affordability.

Was hanging out with a friend last night, sharing mutual disdain for the direction of the country, but we ended the conversation by repeating "we will live to piss on these people's graves" a few times to each other. I highly recommend it.
Republican swamp creatures when they look at other revolutionary movements that get blindly led to greater and greater extremes by their ultras.

From Mack Rhoades to Hunter Yurachek, clearly the main criteria for selection was being a former UH AD
News: The College Football Playoff has appointed Arkansas AD Hunter Yurachek as the new selection committee chair, and added Utah AD Mark Harlan to the selection committee.

They fill the roles held by Baylor AD Mack Rhoades.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Up from #3 to #1 in kenpom after that win, to go with the #1 AP poll ranking. It seems both the algorithm and the humans are taking Kelvin Sampson's advice and not sleeping on Houston

After a couple of "comfortable but closer than it should be" wins to open the season, very enjoyable to see the Coogs absolutely woodshed a lesser opponent

I honestly don’t know what to say anymore. It is overwhelmingly clear at this point that the Republican Party has sold its soul to protect a child rapist, led by wealthy ghouls who will never have enough.

There is only one war, now and forever, and it is the class war. There must be consequences.

People really need to stop framing it is a question of getting more evidence. I mean, sure, that too. But we know. We all know. The president of the United States raped children. Say that. When they get mad at you for saying it, say it again and treat them like an idiot for pretending they doubt it.
