In a love-hate relationship with the Houston Cougars, the Big 12, college sports in general, and the human race.
Just filled out my personal voting guide for the Houston/Texas democratic primaries. Only have real strong convictions on a handful of races, so consider this your opportunity to sell me on any candidate(s) you think are deserving before I get to the polls.

The world's richest man is broadcasting eliminationist rhetoric about a tiny, vulnerable minority, and virtually no one is going to treat it as a scandal. It's just normal now.

I have loved Iowa State literally as long as I can remember and also Iowa State can eat my whole fucking ass booing Jojo for being irate that they robbed him of a steal

An obvious fucking Houston steal is called a kick ball and ISU gets 3 free points, cool

I fucking love Big 12 basketball
And to think we have a whole 2nd half left in this game

I know ISU thinks they should've gotten some more calls, too, and may be right. But good lord the non-charge on Pleta earlier and the non-over-the-back on Jefferson just now were brutal. This is the all-star, final four-level crew we were promised?

I think it will be hard to win if Iowa State makes all of their shots

"If this is one of those Cougars nights where they touch 15+ turnovers" is kinda weird phrasing considering that UH just hit 15 turnovers for the first time in over 2 years against K-State on Saturday. But it is notable that Houston's worst TO game each of the last 2 years came against Iowa State.

What a great UH sports weekend:

- MBB remains at the top of the conference
- Baseball starts 3-0 in Puerto Rico w/multiple power conf wins
- Softball goes 4-1 with multiple power conf wins/no bad losses
- Tennis finishes non-conference 9-0 with 2 more dominant wins

The Houston Cougars are in sole possession of first place in the Big 12

Miami University casually beats Ohio to improve to 25-0.

No team in the last 60 years that reached 25-0 and was eligible for the NCAA Tournament missed the Big Dance.

I know that as a UH fan I have no room to be cocky here, but SMU getting out-drawn 1,000-to-1 by OU and LSU fans for SMU "home" games is going to be so fucking funny

COUGAR BASEBALL WINS! Big season opening win in Puerto Rico over #21 Wake Forest. 4 scoreless innings each from Paul Schmitz/Chris Scinta to start/finish the game + 7 diff Coogs got at least a hit w/Jackson Lalima going a valuable 2-3 in the 9 hole.

Coogs win!! Houston baseball opens the season with an 8-2 stomping of #21 Wake Forest. 4 scoreless innings apiece from Paul Schmitz and Chris Scinta. Remind me to talk shit about this team pregame for the rest of the year.
Happy college baseball opening day to all who celebrate! Not felling very celebratory myself, as a fan of a team that is just playing out the last season of a lame duck coach's contract and has no real aspirations this year. But one day, one day this holiday will once again mean something to me.

This can't be right, if Trump is a legitimate threat to the 2026 elections and there are things the democrats can do to stop him, why is 2/3 of this app nonstop scolding of anybody who takes the threat to the midterms seriously?

Houston is one game behind Arizona for first place in the Big 12. Houston's next two games are Utah and Kansas State, the two worst teams in the conference. Arizona's are Kansas and Texas Tech.

Absolutely screaming at my TV as Fran and Boog jerk off the official for not T-ing up Kelvin for screaming at him after he missed the most obvious goaltending of all time. Just don't miss the goaltend next time! You don't get credit for missing an obvious call just bc you didn't compound it with a T
