Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

Remember this before you order your next pumpkin spice latte.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

THIS IS FUCKED UP: Sae Joon Park took bullets for America in Iraq.

The thanks he got? A one-way ticket out of the country he nearly died for.
He’s being deported to South Korea—after surviving spinal injuries, PTSD, and addiction.

He fought for America. Now America throws him out like trash.

They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida.

If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.

Not taking anything away from Senator Padilla because he was treated atrociously

But I JUST want to remind everyone that the Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, a Black woman, was just indicted for just asking questions at an ICE detention center in her state

Keep that same energy of support for her

So that's what Big Balls did with the terabytes of data he stole from the National Labor Relations Board a few weeks ago.
On Friday ICE agents stopped a bus in Albion, NY. They had a list of names, and took 14 people into custody

Those workers—and their employer—happened to be involved in one of the most crucial labor struggles in the state in recent memory

In only a few months, we've rolled back the clock on measles eradication by more than three decades. The last time we hit this benchmark in 1990, 9 children died. It took ten more years and intensive vaccination efforts after that to declare it eliminated. That was 25 years ago.

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.

It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.
