The best place to put a potion of fire resistance is before the fire encounter by a temporal distance that ensures they will forget they have it and later feel dumb about it.
You have to respect Larian for doing stuff like putting a potion of fire resistance on a table right after a lava mephit ambush. That's the kind of heinous, uncalled for villainy that takes a *gamer* and makes them into a *Game Master*

The extent to which the whole tariff bit comes down to Trump being dead certain that the rest of the world is Ripping Us Off but being too stupid/impatient to learn or understand what that would actually mean...as an increasingly innumerate man it is honestly inspiring. I feel seen. I feel valid.
