UPDATE: Jack Daniel’s parent co. Brown-Forman tells me it has nothing to do with CBS’ “Whiskey Friday” concept. “Jack Daniel’s is not involved in any such segment, nor do we have any awareness of the segment and any potential partnerships or sponsorships.”

my sort of underbaked take is i liked the dilbert comic strip as a kid because its depiction of a banal and arbitrary work environment where nonsensical top-down policies dictated my life resonated much more with my experience of school than my life later in the work force
rather than talk about Scott Adams I want to talk about something weirder (me). Who else was really into Dilbert when you were 12. Who else was like, boy, I can't wait to work a cubicle job

I initially kinda thought something as stupid and obvious as the Erika Kirk primetime townhall was a "they're dabbing on us" situation, but y'know, Bari might genuinely just be that bad at this from an entire career played on easy mode

Been watching more Jeopardy! recently and:
1. It’s hilarious and absurd they even tried making someone other than Ken Jennings the host after Trebek
2. Ken’s great as host but I wish like once a month he’d roll up his sleeves and hop in the game for a round, see if he’s still got it
