This is well worth a watch, not just because you can see someone who was on the sidelines quickly become involved and engaged, but because it's another reminder that no one wants these fucking goons in their community.
Everybody should watch this and see this woman, who has a baby in her arms and is thrust into basically a standoff, develop courage in real time.

About 1/3rd of the country voted for this. Nearly half didnt vote at all, which is more an indictment of the Dems than it is people being truly disconnected. People who do not feel represented do not participate.

maybe an unpopular position on this website but i think the moderate dem focus on ICE training can be, with political pressure, the pathway to more fundamental reforms. rhetorically it is not too hard to move from “more training” to “turns out they’re untrainable and we have to start all over.”

As a member of the DSA I can tell you that some of us are trying very hard but we are up against a multi-trillion dollar propaganda apparatus that has been running nonstop in all aspects of American life for 100 years.
