There’s all this talk that we need a leftist “Joe Rogan.” And I think that’s the wrong way to think about it. Rogan, or more explicitly people like Trump, Matt Walsh or Ben Shapiro are all selling a story - we need to be figuring out how we better sell our story over the tale of white supremacy.

“Wistoria: Wand and Sword” is fucking gorgeous. Animated and designed as well as a feature length anime, with great subtle music.
The plot is not exactly unique, being a serious version of Mashle, but the quality and ambience of the show give it the oomf it needs - especially in action scenes.

I have a soft spot for stories about robots that show that they might have sentience/emotions, and this story could get there, but rn the main guy is pathetic, and the conceit of the “marriage” is weakly implemented.
