1/2 The pattern is clear. Whether it's
- ATO call centres
- welfare debt collection
- employment services
- aged care
- childcare....

*Every* time governments have contracted out or privatized public services; the result is poor quality and worse outcomes.

No, Premier.

You need to direct the police to stop neo-Nazis.

No Premier, they don't need "more powers".
They need to do their job.

Which will be easier if you stop playing politics with the anti-genocide #FreePalestine movement, and direct police to the real antisemitic threats. #nswpol

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

'The CPSU has said Australia’s employment services system are “a complete failure”'; they're not. They generate incomes (profits) for private owners. That's a success. It's both the intent and effect of privatisation.

Governments are invested in a system that puts profits first, so "they need to shore up prejudices against the poor and those who lack family support."

When Albo said "nobody left behind", he must have meant the for-profit companies, like employment service providers, exploiting people in #poverty.
The federal government spends $4 billion a year maintaining the Job Service Provider system, which is designed to surveil and punish welfare recipients who do not complete its arduous “mutual obligations”.
