1. Today, the Iowa Legislature shamefully stripped transgender people from the State Civil Rights Act.

It becomes the first state to ever strip any group from a civil rights act.

There were powerful speeches, and huge protets.

It's nearly 5am and Republicans just rammed through their pro-billionaire, anti-middle class budget blueprint.

In order to pass massive tax giveaways for billionaires, they're going to defund Medicaid, slash veterans benefits, & force kids to go hungry.

Make sure everyone knows it.

With CDC removal of trans data, its important I use my platform to support research in this space.

Emory is doing a virtual study on HIV+ trans-fem individuals and working on shaping viral load testing for this population, with some compensation.

It is *very* important to understand that Jews were never the only target of the 1930s Nazis and they are not the only targets of today’s Nazis. A Nazi salute is not only antisemitic. It is also racist, ableist, and queerphobic.

Wong continued to navigate challenges to his citizenship decades later, seen in this form. That this is a question today is such a disservice to his memory.
