I understand folks are scared but I want you to think about the mechanics of this.

There are more polling places (>100k) than ICE and CBP agents combined, so they can only pick a few districts to try to intimidate.

Now what happens when cell phone footage of that goes online in the early morning?

Cookie update. Almost 3 weeks & we're at that staying 5 ft from me at all times phase. Here he is judging the way I clean his litter box. He has opinions. Cats are amazing. This morning all of his cat toys were lined up at his water bowl. Sharing? Drowning? Love this guy so much. Hugs to you all ❄️💙❄️

I've covered ICE / DHS for about a decade now and more ICE agents are willing to talk now than ever before. The confidence the administration is trying to project is absolutely not reflected internally.

He's doing the same pattern he did with Canada- swan around making blithe military threats, freak out when the other party threatens him with serious shit, retreat to his tariff hugbox, then get his tariffs swiss-cheesed because special interests all twist his arm.

Over the past three days he has gone from "I am going to have my armies take Greenland and there's nothing anybody can do about it and if you say no you'll be sorry!" to "I'm gonna tariff you until you let me buy Greenland!"
That is a backoff. That is a *massive* backoff.

Also tariff otaku being forced to find his body pillow because being big and tough didn't work is actually a major climb down and as long as we remain in the realm of tariffs, this is a handle-able problem.
