They weren't protesting they were being shoved and pepper sprayed by ICE. State and Local Law enforcement was not there to save Alex Pretti. What we have is ICE doing isolated executions to kill Americans on our streets with zero accountability from Noem, from leadership in congress, or from the DOJ

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

The video still matters because it is going to turn the public against them even more. The way out of this is Congress. Congress only acts if the bottom of Trump’s support falls out.
The hope was that public video would make law enforcement think twice, resting on the naive idea that we're dealing with generally law-abiding officers. ICE beats people up and kills in full knowledge they're being filmed. They have lethal impunity.

Don’t go to work on Monday. Especially if you live in dc. You don’t have to protest or make it obvious, but don’t go. These are small weak men who can’t even go to the grocery store alone. They can’t handle united opposition.
