This is what worries me the most about the past 10 years. The wicked amount of braindrain that comes with destroying people's passions for profit.
The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

As a veteran of the United States Air Force, I can also confirm; In Basic Training we were ALL INFORMED that you should NOT carry out illegal orders.
This was part of the glue and bond between servicemen who are Enlisted, as opposed to Officers. It's what's supposed to make us powerful individually
