The cool winds of October bring with them changing leaves, pumpkins, and the Wolfmangione with his unquenchable thirst for the sounds of sweet, soft jazz played on the flugelhorn...and human flesh!
Some snaps taken in the last 2 weeks with my 8 year old digital camera with its crummy kit lens.

Also the costuming and set design in the last 5 minutes, and the way the characters walked in their outfits was...comedic. And I don't think comedic was quite the tone they were going for. That whole bit could have been reimagined overall.
Just watched Bugonia finally. Liked it. The ending montage was a little too on the nose. Would have been more impactful with her popping the bubble, & then the bees returning to the flowers. Cut to credits. No need to be so literal & treat the audience like dumdums & show so much. Just my opinion.

Whenever I see houses like this around here in the Deep South I wonder how old they are and what stories they have to tell. There are so many houses like this here out in the country.

In addition to abolishing the Department of Homeland Security, we also have to destroy Palantir and prosecute its leadership

The strongest "evidence" that Fox/DOJ can cite here is that Lemon entered the church shortly before the protesters did.

Of course, that's common when a journalist has a camera and knows something is about to happen.

It isn't a conspiracy to commit a crime, unless you see journalism as a crime.
Here’s the Fox News/DOJ account of the church incident that led to Lemon’s arrest.

You can see why the magistrate turned down prosecutors.

There have been many journalists arrested in the US before. I'm one of them.

This is still very different. Lemon wasn't arrested as part of a mass of arrests of people surrounding a protest as it was happening and released (as I was). Lemon is being re-arrested for having covered a protest.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

CNN likes Trump more than it likes its former colleagues
Or how about this headline — “American citizen arrested without cause after exercising his Constitutional rights.” Very important that government propaganda not become the default framing.

These centrists are such cowards
Do I think Schumer is a “wartime consigliere”? Not really. But I dont think there’s any magic phrase that’s going to change the course of events. That path was set in November ‘24 when voters thought “How bad can a second Trump term be?” Well, we’re finding out.

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (one of 7 Democrats who just voted to fund DHS) defends her stance.

Argues funding for ICE "is not the question." Instead, Senate Democrats have leverage for various demands.

"I think they could negotiate to replace Noem with someone that doesn't skirt the filibuster."

They’re following the same playbook that the US & Israel have used in Palestine. Tracking and targeting Palestinians for slaughter with Palantir AI tech. What Palestinians have suffered through for decades has now just come to the US.
