"Unlike the 'meritocracy' they are trying to build in which white men are restored to their proper dominance, the Olympics are pretty close to a true meritocracy. Conservatives can’t whine that Simone Biles or Chloe Kim must have gotten their spots by pushing aside a more 'qualified' white athlete."
Yeah, US Olympians are woke. Deal with it.

Congress is pushing through bills that could exclude millions of eligible U.S. citizens from voting.

Call your Senator now and demand they vote NO on any bill that makes it harder for us to vote.

Get off that site.

One of the great problem with journalism prizes is that they are mostly awarded based on the year a piece is published and not once their true power has been recognized.

But if ever there were a case for a special award...it should go to Julie.
Never in a million years did I ever fathom when I resurrected the Epstein story in 2018 that it would lead to first arrest of a British Royal in four centuries. Not since King Charles I was arrested in 1647.

8 in-custody deaths in 50 days—one every 6 days. This needs to be a much larger story.
I received notification of yet another death at an ICE facility, meaning 38 people have died in custody since Trump returned to office.

ICE is failing to ensure the health and safety of the people it is responsible for.

We need immediate oversight of this entire operation.
