I propose that the Deansgate / Quay St junction is the worst ever junction to include protected cycling.
I honestly doubt you could have deliberately designed a junction with more conflict between users.
At some point, I’ll get a video showing just how bad it is.

The kids doing their own things, so we got on the bikes and headed into town, via the quays, with a plan to go round some of the alternative Xmas markets, starting at the People’s History Museum.

Glad to see leaves finally being cleared from Talbot Rd, hoping they’re doing Stretford Rd too.
Getting sick of all the cars and van blocking the pavement and cycle lane at the carpet shop and garages though.

Talbot Rd, since the installation of those concrete blocks, cars now parking further up the road 🤬

When the police park like this, what hope is there for people parking responsibly and not obstructing and damaging pavements? Just imagine if we did eventually get a pavement parking ban. No chance with this Labour government, they’re fucking hopeless.

Youngest off school yesterday, so I booked the day off and we did the markets. Was surprisingly relaxing, doubt it’d be the same today.

Don't think I've ever seen so many tributes to someone in my various social timelines. Very sad news and I really feel for their sons, who've lost both parents in such a short time. RIP.
