I guess I just have no interest in catering a work for someone who inherently doesn't care in the first place. Trying to micromanage someone else's goldfish attention span sounds like a waste of energy and resources. Make your shit for the people who'll like it, not the people who won't.

everything with SNAP right now is a nightmare, but today when I was volunteering with this org I'm a part of that gets home made meals to unhoused folks in the community had more meal donations than ever, so while none of us should be in this position, I appreciate all the people stepping up

the thing with art/gamedev/other creative endeavors is that you don't have to do it as a job, my dad and his other middle aged buddies used to play soccer and none of them harbor any fantasy of being athletes, you can just play a little soccer or make a little gamejam project it's good for the soul

When I think of A.I. I think of asbestos. To begin with everyone thought Asbestos was amazing, folk used it in everything. Then they started learning it was dangerous, research was done, they stopped using it, thou for some the damage was already done. Stop using A.I and limit the damage it's doing.

"Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.

I will be relentlessly unapologetic about the future being what we make of it. And as hard as things are right now, I unrelentingly want to keep working towards things being kinder and softer, even if it take tooth and nail to get there now.
