I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

@sheaserrano.bsky.social I accidentally bought two copies of the Expensive Basketball book. While I love the book, I'd rather give it to someone who may be down on their luck. Any way to make that happen?

Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!

it is sort of funny that trumpism is the exact system they were trying to avoid and yet none of their institutional fixes to prevent this worked

time to think about this

You know when things were pretty quiet and peaceful in L.A.? Before ICE started arresting residents who were bothering no one and going to their jobs. And before DHS and National Guard troops showed up and made the situation worse.

Of course Trump and Stephen Miller want the situation to get worse.

Now Hegseth is saying that the active duty Marines at Camp Pendleton are on alert to come in if the National Guard isn’t enough.

The U.S. government is ready to unleash our own military on civilians.

It is definitely time to be frightened about what is happening here.

Would be cool to live in a timeline where the universities are the ones suing in order to protect their students
A 21-year-old Columbia University student who has lived in the United States since she was a child sued President Trump and other high-ranking administration officials on Monday after immigration officials tried to arrest and deport her.

Yunseo Chung participated in a Barnard sit-in this month.

It’s a bad thing that Kenya (and many African countries) have imported (mostly through well-meaning reform evangelists) the Anglo world’s disease of not being able to build quality public infrastructure quickly & at a reasonable cost.

This must stop.
