Germany never actually got rid of the Nazi's, which is why the country is still a disaster. They were enabled & reintegration into society. The U.S. can't be trusted to purge the authoritarians & their collaborators.
Germany had to be De-Nazified to allow democracy to flourish. The USA has to be De-MAGAified to do the same.
