I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Artists- life is so much calmer if you stop comparing your work to others. Same goes with careers and wee internet art groups, the whole thing. Fuckit. Do stuff for you. Never show anyone most of it. You’ll improve your mental art health a lot. Even just for a bit.

When I was starting out in acting I constantly compared myself to my peers and seeing them succeed while I didn't made me so miserable I gave up entirely
Now I make things for me/make what I want to see in the world. If you enjoy it others will too!

I've been writing a long and intense climactic scene from my newer project over the last couple of days. I actually wrote several pages of it on the trains to and from Maastricht.
It's turning out wonderfully. And not at all how I originally intended. Sometimes, the characters just know best ❤️
