Last year, Trump promised American oil executives “a great deal” if they donated $1 billion to his campaign.

Today, he gave them Venezuela — home to the largest oil reserves in the world.

This new war is not only illegal and reckless; it is deeply corrupt.

Quite the unintentionally ironic use of this song about young men whose fathers were rich enough to get them out of the draft!

Alarming, especially as China is very willing to push this technology to repressive governments around the world.
Our new ASPI report 'The Party’s AI' is out now. It shows how China’s LLMs, vision models and “AI+” governance architecture are hard-coding censorship and control into the future of AI.

Absolutely this, and Minns was willing to go even further in selling out to the gun lobby. He had to be pulled back from doing it.

The murderers fired 33 rounds in the first minute at Bondi. There's blood on the hands of the politicians and regulators who enabled that, who sold out to the gun lobby to put such rapid-fire killing machines in their hands, undermining Port Arthur.

"I hardly knew the guy."
Trump always goes for the big lie.
These guys are so BAD at this. This is like dictators getting 99.9% of the vote. You don’t do that. You go for, like, 68%.

Everyone KNOWS Trump is in the Epstein Files. You gotta leave his name in in SOME places. Choose the least bad, claim critics now overreacting.

But we KNOW *THIS* is a lie.

Good wide-ranging analysis.
Where he gives his opinions they are always well-supported.
“Trump’s support has fallen particularly sharply with young people and minorities. Much reporting of last year’s election focused on the ‘realignment’ of these groups away from the Democrats. But they have quickly reverted back.“

The Trump admin just changed which days Americans can visit national parks for free next year — removing Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth and adding Trump's birthday.

Yes, this is the posturing of the bros around him.
The ones who fancy themselves as world historical geniuses.
I’d be more alarmed about Trump’s National Security Strategy if there was a prospect of him ever reading it.

It really is amazing that the president has a noticeable an unexplained physical ailment that is disfiguring his right hand and there's no reporting about it. The White House's line is that it's from Trump shaking too many hands! Something is clearly being covered up.

As far as I can see, this nat sec strategy is far harsher on Europe than on Russia. There is no mention of a threat from Russia or of deterrence, only that "re-establishing strategic stability" is a priority. Europe is cast as a major threat to freedom. A radical, dangerous document.

Trump is a bloated, useless entity.
Kind of appropriate then.
