New artwork for Numenera! "To Emerald City Above", acrylics 20x10''. Btw, this is definitely my weird take on Wizard of Oz. The city is obvious, but I rather enjoyed interpreting the adventuring party riding a giant dog-eared jellyfish with a sphinx, robot, and construct in the mix.

Lots of (ok MOST) anime and manga have insane convoluted plots, but I like that Dorohedoro is the first I've read where the characters are confused WITH you.
It might make no sense, but the story admits this. It doesn't make you feel dumb for not keeping up. The characters are puzzled too.

Kratos being a colossal shithead constantly is the whole driving force behind the story, without which nothing works. Him having some consensual sex is arguably the most harmless thing he does.
