To add to this, I wouldn't put it past these AI Sloppers that they care for the story in any meaningful sense either. They want to churn as much content as possible. They wouldn't even BE the audience. They'd rather ask ChatGPT to give them the synopsis of their own creation. Which, would be wrong.
This is a really good point that I had not run into before: these "creators" have no further insight into their alleged creation than the average audience member and that is why it cannot be called art (besides all the other obvious reasons).
