In 1976 the CIA conspired to kill the democratic socialist Prime Minister of Jamaica. When that failed they instead focused on creating the (still ongoing!) drug and crime wave on the island to oust him from power. Last night's actions are part of a long history. The Caribbean remembers.

For anyone celebrating the removal of Maduro by American soldiers, youre no better than Putin. The US already is propping up a puppet leader to take over Venezuela. Every time this has happened it's always turned out worse for the people.
