It's Transgender Day of Remembrance and I just want to say that a world without trans people would be a rainbow with many colors missing. We are brighter and more colorful in this world because of trans people, and have lost too many too early. I love you for being more you than most of us can be

Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to honor trans people killed because of who they are. The day began, in part, to honor Rita Hester, a Black trans woman murdered in 1998. @cristelaguerra.bsky.social spoke with her family back in 2020 for @wbur.org.

For years after her death, Hester’s own family had no idea that she sparked a global movement.

Worth noting that Delta also flies seasonally from Boston to Barcelona and Milan, and LEVEL flies year-round between Boston and BCN.
JetBlue is adding 2 new transatlantic routes from Boston for summer 2026:

📍 Barcelona daily from April 16
📍 Milan daily from May 11

Boston is really becoming a European gateway for JetBlue.

Muppet "Knives Out" would own. I cannot think of an actor who would understand the assignment, on a Michael Caine level, better than Daniel Craig would. bsky.app/profile/rian...
Am I a hypocrite for wanting this after giving a hard no to muppet knives out
Okay, I'm making my case for the only Muppet I want to see on Broadway right now...

also get ready because Dan and Katie and I are going to have an amazing video about the Nova Scotia tree in a few weeks
My desk now contains an amazing gift from coworker Katie Cole who (legally) grabbed me a pine cone from this year’s Tree For Boston, the annual Christmas tree given by the amazing people of Nova Scotia as a thank you gift.

I am infatuated with this joyous tradition:

My kingdom for sports journalists to stop lumping Washington and Baltimore together with one “beltway.” There’s the Capital Beltway (95/495) and the Baltimore Beltway (695).

Also they are two very distinct metro areas, albeit less than an hour apart.

Yes I will die on this petty hill.

A thread from Louisville Public Media showing the importance of local journalism. When you donate to your local public media station or subscribe to a locally owned outlet, this is what you are supporting: news that is important to your community covered by your neighbors.
I know, I know, media is DYING right? But LOCAL media is still out here doing the work, showing up, donning masks to breathe in fewer petroleum fumes and delivering the information our communities need. Allow me to demonstrate.
