Finally, after four tries - finally sub-5. PR feels so good. Time to go eat way too much pizza and ice cream.

I tried little league when I was a kid. I went to three practices - the first day I got hit in the eye with a pitch, the second I got hit in the nose by a pitch, and the third I got hit in the mouth by a pitch.
Cried the whole way home. Quit then and there. Never went back for a fourth practice.

I discovered a hack for when really smart people at work (both internally and also donors) ask me if I've heard of a certain author/scholar that I truly have never heard of.
I look up in the air like I'm thinking really hard before responding with, "shoot, that name sounds so familiar - remind me?"
