The Christmas Eve jazz concert at the Kennedy Center has been canceled. The show’s host, musician Chuck Redd, said, “When I saw the name change on the Kennedy Center website and later on the building, I chose to cancel our concert.”

Obama got the health care plan he ran on during the election passed. It was also the only plan he could get past Joe ‘fucking asshole’ Lieberman. It likely would have gotten a public option in reconciliation but then Ted Kennedy died and they had to vote on the bill as-is. Insured ~50M uninsured.
Obama got a Republican healthcare bill passed. That’s why it sucks and costs so much. Clinton left us with a surplus because he raised taxes on the wealthy. Obama was an inexperienced but ambitious president who got his finance team from Wall Street. It got everything it wanted from him.
