I’ve been many people, done many things. Besides my 30+ yr marriage to Carlton, most proud to have volunteered with the #OneInTeen #LGBTQ youth group in Nashville for 20 yrs. Was also part of #GeeksResist #DemCast prior to being banned from Musk’s Twitter.

Who else is so very glad that "America First" is such a flexible political 'philosophy.' :-/

These dangerous wingnuts have no clue what they are doing ... nor what long-term negative impacts their actions will have.
Anyone who opposes Hegseth’s War on Venezuela must hate America.

There are times when what is correct in politics is indeed murky.

These days are NOT one of those times. Trump, GOP, MAGA values in 2025 are hateful and cruel ... so, of course, we can stand together with 'moral clarity' because basic human decency demands it.

Mike Collins’ campaign uses AI to create FAKE video of Ossoff with fabricated comments about his shutdown vote.

The GOP win by lying and the media must stop allowing this to go unchallenged!

Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.

The hypocrisy of evangelical churches have been on display for years, but the latest lack of response to this food crisis is staggering.

Jesus wept.
Are all the Evangelical Mega Churches operating Food Banks and food distribution? Are they delivering food boxes to frail elderly or Veterans or anyone in need? Didn’t think so

People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people. (Movie quote)

Public servants should live among the people they serve. How does a republic thrive when those in power are shielded from the consequences of their decisions!!
“More and more cabinet members — Rubio, Miller, Noem — live on military bases now, & it's another parallel to Iraq, where the administration lived in the Green Zone. There’s something deeply unhealthy about a society where leaders are literally shut off from the communities that they govern.”
Don Moynihan on "Purge, Merge, and Surge"
"Instead of surging in Iraq, it’s happening here in American cities."

Here in Tennessee, Republicans specialize in so-called tele-town-halls: Phone calls in which calls in are screened and read by staff.

There's literally no way to reach or talk to an "elected" "representative." (If you call the office you get an intern; if you write you get form letters in return.)
Many in Trump’s administration now live on military bases, to shield themselves from the majority of Americans they are screwing over in favor of the oligarchs.

Many Republicans won’t do town halls.

They avoid the citizenry because they’ve stopped serving them.

We deserve much better.

Trump's job growth numbers keep declining in 2025...

Compared to Joe Biden's job growth numbers in 2022 to 2024...

That's why votes this week overwhelmingly rejected Trump's failed economic policies...
