A truly fascinating (and stunning) felid. If I were forced to choose a favorite wild cat, I might have to go with the snow leopard.
A thing I learned is that snow leopards communicate by scent marking, particularly peeing and rubbing on rocks.

And they do it so well that a fresh mark can be smelled, very well, by humans....for MORE THAN A MONTH.

I cut a path through this snowbank since no one else seemed to be willing to do it. It took about a half hour and my best shovel (solid ice and frozen snow) but I got it done and didn’t give myself a heart attack!😅
