This is idea washing in the 21st century.
It makes me question the idea->policy->cultural movement-> to law enacted pipeline and how often I have fallen for it.
Even if the idea is a good one, who is paying for the creation of the study, book, or work that creates the conditions for the adoption

Arresting people for their addiction is not a serious effort to solve addiction. It moves people out of sight temporarily and does more harm than good.
