In 2012, when my ex-pastor sued me for $500K after leaving a negative Google review, my story went viral. I received over 500 emails, primarily from those who had also experienced spiritual abuse. Those emails told me that my story was relevant to many people.

The old divorce laws gave all the power of the state to the abusers, cheaters, and swindlers. No-fault divorce gives it to the victims. It's the ability to throw off the yoke of being forced to stay with someone who treats you as their enemy.

Evidently, it's not polite to talk about abused wives right now and how churches have failed to shepherd and discipline abusers while #JohnMacArthur is on his death bed. But it's fine for women/children to endure abuse for decades waiting for church leaders to help.

Because of men's/women's "biblical" roles, I stayed in my lane. Now, as a single homeowner, I have learned to snake my basement drain (out of necessity), and I also made two self-wicking 4 x 8 x 32 in. raised garden beds.
Now I'm driving in both lanes. Watch out!
