Because of men's/women's "biblical" roles, I stayed in my lane. Now, as a single homeowner, I have learned to snake my basement drain (out of necessity), and I also made two self-wicking 4 x 8 x 32 in. raised garden beds.
Now I'm driving in both lanes. Watch out!

This showed up in my FB memories. I had to go back to school and get in a field where I could eventually support myself. I finally stood up to him. I would live 5 more years in-home separated before divorcing. In 2020, I was finally free from patriarchy, spiritual, verbal, and emotional abuse.

The time I called Bill Gothard (2013) to ask why he hadn't taken responsibility for sexually abusing minors who lived at IBLP headquarters. He didn't answer, so I left a VM w/my number, and he called me back. It was so weird to see his name come up on caller ID, so I took a pic with my cell phone.
