theconversation.com/canada-loses... “Measles is one of the most contagious diseases on the planet. Before the measles vaccine was licensed for use in 1963, nearly every child got measles infection and more than 2 million children died from measles each year.”
Canada loses its official ‘measles-free’ status – and the US will follow soon, as vaccination rates fall

There is an amazing book on misinformation, “Killer Underwear Invasion.” It is incredible how much of an impact it’s made on my kids.

Just a few days ago my kid saw something on TV and said proudly, “that’s man is like the puppy pinchers!”

I wrote in the New York Times about how I think companies saying women are leaving because of "return to office" is a cop out. Nursing, a fundamentally in person job, is almost 90% female. So what do women really want? Boundaries.

After 13 years in the US, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave. Having packed up everything and rethought about priorities, rather painstakingly, while I’m sad to leave the life I’ve made here, I’m also relieved that I won’t have to plan my life around immigration policies anymore.

My quote of the day

Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership.
