Pritzker should mobilize them first. The entire Illinois Army National Guard. Order them to protect Illinois residents from menacing outsiders, regardless of who they work for.
Trump to federalize Illinois National Guard, Pritzker says

Check this out! This is a big deal and helps lead the way for how we should think about analyzing genomes.

Just because YOU struggled your WHOLE life doesn't mean she has to. We should be celebrating that a young, talented woman with her whole life ahead of her has a loving community behind her who is willing to help her acheive her dreams. Please block me because you're going to hate the positivity here

Seems like another great reason to quit having scientific conferences in Florida (and really - there are so many). I’m looking at you @agbt.bsky.social

It's only cancel culture if it comes from the democratic regions of the U.S. Otherwise it's sparkling authoritarianism.
It is fucking insane that we had a decade of people complaining about the dangers of cancel culture, and now literally hundreds of thousands of people are being purged from government jobs for ideological reasons, but that is not cancel culture.

This is a great loss for the scientific community and the world. Atul was always positive and always willing to help.
Atul Butte died yesterday.
The world lost a giant.
A big bear of a man.
With a huge smile.
With love for everyone.
With energy that could power a room.
I loved everything about Atul.
I loved how he was always happy.
I loved how excited he was about science and helping people.

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

There are many talented Black women strategists that I could refer and I know others could

And Senate Dems pick guys who helped us get here to talk to them

theres no special knowledge one gets as a senator that makes you a better president imo. maybe if youre a hustler like lbj, but he's an outlier. the senate is where emotion goes to die. if aoc has the juice she should swing for the big prize, imo.

Scientists love to debate and argue, but if there are 3 things every scientist absolutely agrees on, it's that:

1. Climate change is real
2. Vaccines work
3. Those are NOT dire wolves 😤
