I never did an intro post so here goes! I'm a #librarian and #archivist in a #TimeLibrary dedicated to research into time and timekeeping. Formerly I was a computer programmer and novelist. Currently doing a master's in #Egyptology. Big on #DoctorWho, #FilmPhotography, and #Esperanto.
Good morning Neshuu! Creeping round the corner. We call him Neshuu because, even though it's a reproduction of Tutankhamun's sarcophagus, the bogus hieroglyphs in the cartouche are three cups. Hence his name must be "nšw.w" (cups).

I'm so old when I get out my tangly earphones, but I see people drop their wireless ear buds every day. The case pops open, ear buds scatter, and the owner scoops them up and sticks them in their ear right next to where they keep their brain. GIRL THAT'S BEEN ON THE SUBWAY FLOOR, IT HAS RAT AIDS.

I wish booksellers wouldn't use labels that leave a horrible gummy residue (or, worse, tear the cover when you try to remove them). There must be a vendor that sells book-safe labels.
For all you kids at home: Goo Gone is magic stuff. Use an eraser to remove residue from covers that can't get wet.
