I'm a cataloguing librarian. You would not believe the utterly bonkers things people do with page numbers. Whatever wild and unreasonable pagination you can think of, it's probably been done, and it's a lot more common than you might expect.

Yeah I lucked out. Bought a bag of 9 lbs of assorted watches and found a few gems. There was a nasty fake Rolex too XD

I love that you pointed out Kubrick's sense of humour. Obviously it's on show in films like "Strangelove" and "Clockwork Orange" but films like "2001" are also very funny, just more deadpan. HAL telling Dave to take a chill pill after murdering everyone always cracks me up.
