Trump is urging SCOTUS to let him fire three Democrat-appointed members of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The CPSC regulates safety of everyday consumer products.

Guess who recently sued the agency and claimed that it's "unconstitutional"?

Amazon.

Connect the dots.

Today proves that Republicans were serious about one promise: to cut taxes for the wealthy. All the rest was bullshit.

She warned you but dogs and cats and Gaza. Great job.
Republicans in Congress have voted to devastate millions of people across our nation — kicking Americans off their health care, shuttering hospitals, eliminating food assistance, and raising costs.

This is Project 2025 in action.

Just in time for the nation’s birthday, House Republicans have passed the most regressive legislation in recent memory.

Legal critics have called it “the worst bill in modern American history.” Why? 🧵

It takes from the poorest and gives to the richest—among other things.

House Republicans have passed the most regressive legislation in recent memory, which will cut more than $1 trillion from Medicaid and boot some 12 million Americans off their health insurance, even as it explodes the federal deficit—all to extend and expand tax cuts that favor the rich.

This is what I’m so worried about
I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.
