There’s a simple solution here: James Bond in Hell. He has sex with the Devil’s wife, kills the Devil by kicking him out of a helicopter, etc.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

People are dunking on this and I get why, but in the Bond writer's defense, people's expectations have changed. I've lost track of how many people have expressed utter confusion or dismay over Robert Downey Jr. playing a different character in the MCU than Iron Man.

I really hate the people who owned my house before me. The guy was an engineer, the girl a painter. And given how they kept up their house and tried to do everything themselves, they must have been really bad at their jobs.

Another Illinois lawmaker trashing the vote Durbin just took.

BTW, the House leadership promised to restore funding for DC after the March funding bill passed too… and it never happened.
To be clear: D senators trusting R senators who promise a vote on ACA subsidies at some future point is nothing more that a liar convincing a sucker. A sucker for believing the lie, and for believing that Johnson will ever bring it up in the House.

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Some states got full benefits out after the courts ordered them to. The White House is saying that was illegal. But it would also be illegal to claw back those benefits. The net result is that some SNAP users got full benefits, and some did not depending on how aggressively their state acted.

This is an absolutely insane administrative process. Within the space of a week, states were told by judges/White House
*no SNAP benefits
*half benefits
*full benefits
*pause provision of benefits.
Result is chaos, uncertainty, and uneven access to benefits depending on where people live.
NEW: The Trump admin told states it must immediately "undo" the work to provide full food stamp benefits, or face penalties. The feds sent this in a late-night memo, only adding to the chaos and confusion around SNAP. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...
