With SANDBAGGERS now on Amazon Prime, I present The Cut-Glass Index, a ranking of the series' posh accents. We begin at #10: Jeff Ross. Cartoonish American accent, vital as a foil, but a deep blow to the character. A golden retriever gallumping through the hedge rows amid the beagles. Score: 0/10Jef

"[Shakespeare In Love] belongs firmly to the Wellesian tradition, using the tools of popular entertainment to sneak in profundity and beauty. Hamnet, on the other hand, is Olivier through and through: beautiful, respectable, and terminally dull."

This episode of Off Menu featuring Joy Crookes was my favorite podcast of 2025. Staggering charm, just effortlessly and comfortably herself. She will forever be the coolest person in whatever room she's in. If you need an hour of warm, sparkling delight, this is it.

If you watch the story, you learn that the zap intensity can range from 1 to 100. If your perineum is sensitive enough to detect 100 different levels of stimulation, I salute you.
For those with a male perineum, there’s MOR, a device that can gently zap the area to either delay or intensify ejaculation.

Before social media, all we had to waste time was White Wolf's World of Darkness MUD. Has anyone ever memorialized it somewhere? Only @lordbusinessman.bsky.social seems like he would be enough of a degenerate to remember it.

The author of the great North of Reality blog launched a new project. Great to see such a playful, cock-eyed imagination return with fresh words.

I know you love pointing to the needle drops, but the scene in Marty Supreme where Chalamet and Paltrow are getting down to business in a park plays a great track called "The Necklace" by composer Daniel Lopatin that's such a clever tonal nod to "Love On A Real Train" in Risky Business.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.
