The Big Man's had an evening of guard duty after an interloping black tom was spotted this afternoon.
He's given up his regular evening's mousing to sit by the office window, keeping watch and occasionally jumping down to do a lap of the house before coming back inside.
God, he's hilarious. 🤣

Yes, and cos that's how our society works, isn't it? No one benefits from HE except the people receiving it, right? Not employers, not people who use public services, people who require credentialed professionals, who have kids that need educating, need medical care...

Am I being overly cynical when the doorbell goes and a young fella in a suit is standing there, me automatically getting my guard up expecting him to shower me in religious tracts?
