Neither Biden nor Trump has proven willing to put an ounce of pressure on Israel on this front and so the question remains open.
It is funny that MBS so badly wants a normalization deal but recognizes the need for even just a symbolic advancement on the Palestinian question and neither the US nor Israel are willing to give this up. They would have been willing in the 90s but have gotten too ideological.
