Americans trusted their Senators to fight for them in the face of rising healthcare costs. But instead, Dem. Senators just caved, for nothing. This is literally life & death for millions of Americans, but Schumer can't even hold this line. It is inexcusable. We deserve better.

Around 1:30am this morning we passed a Continuing Resolution, also known as a CR, to fund our state govt at current levels for 1 week to avoid a state government shutdown until we get a final budget done sometime later this week for the Governor to sign.

I am devastated to hear about the horrific attack on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc earlier today. My family and I are praying for those killed, and those whose loved ones were killed or injured as they attended services at their church.
