I want Democrats to propose a work requirements bill for rich tax subsidies. The rich need to pass tests to prove they're working. Being wealthy doesn't count. Dividends from stocks and interest from savings don't count. Rent doesn't count. Gotta prove you're working and not just sitting on beaches.

One of the purposes of DOGE is to give a sheen of respectability to lies about government. A 10 minute conversation with someone who understands Social Security data - or just Cobol - would have debunked this, but the lie is more valuable to their goals than the truth.

The “no cost too great to protect Canadian sovereignty” talk makes me damn resentful of those who say it and will not suffer the costs.
It’s great rhetoric, but there are costs too great. The ppl who will suffer them are suffering now.
I’d rather they drop the talk & prove why we’re worth defending.

I’ve gone from being able to add/subtract 3+ multi-digit numbers in my head to not even being able to hold the numbers themselves in my head long enough to figure out what to do with them.
My SIN and MCP, committed to memory since I was 12, I struggle to recall now.
