There is something really wrong with people who need workers to be not just competent, but slavishly fake-happy. "Slavishly" used on purpose, bc that's where this grotesquerie comes from.

It’s really important that #Vancouver’s Downtown Business Association, who were originally against bike-lanes, are now among their most vigourous supporters, because of ACTUAL EVIDENCE that they’re better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced.

Trying to schedule an MRI. First there was a while prior authorization rigmarole. Now the MRI place doesn’t answer the phone. I left a message Wednesday on their voicemail that said they would call me back in 1 business day. Just left another. How many tries will it take?

My daughter’s Omnipod failed last night. When I beeped this morning I remembered reading that you can throw it in the freezer to stop it. A minute ago we opened the freezer and it was screaming so I had to stab it to shut it up. #insulinpumpproblems #T1D
